Okay, so this week has been awesome and tiring all at the same time. Grace the Snidget came up on Tuesday, and we’ve been doing massive work on Magus. We’ve made a lot of updates and corrections to the website, including three new bands! That’s right, the whole Horntail family is coming to Magus 2008!
We’ve also updated the FAQ, cleaned up the About Magus section, and have the forums up and running. Check them out here: http://magus2008.proboards77.com/ and sign up!
If you want to exchange links with us with us, send us an email with either the text link or a banner and the link (banners cannot be bigger than 300×50 pixels) at magusgoblins@gmail.com and add our own link to your site. We only have stills right now, but if you head over to the links page (Here!), the banner is up there and you can add it to your site. : D We also have two avatars up if you want to use them on forums, chat services (such as AIM, MSNM, and Skype), and anything else you can think of. All official Magus graphics are designed by the lovely Kelly of Enchanted Ceiling Productions.
We’re almost ready to set up registration; that’ll be happening in the coming month, so look out for more news on that! If you have any questions, as always, feel free to either e-mail us at magusgoblins@gmail.com or send us a message on our myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/magus2008.

The first bit of news we have to impart with you is that all proceeds from Magus will officially be donated to the Shelley A. Marshall Foundation. The Marshall Foundation was established in the name of a woman who died in the 9/11 attacks who loved reading and creativity. Because of this, the Foundation sponsors numerous events for children to read and write, among others. To learn more about the Foundation, visit their website at http://www.shelleysfoundation.org/
Secondly, The Marauders have just notified us that they’ll be coming to Magus as well! Please remember that all of the bands on our list are tentative, as most of them are waiting to find out the date before saying that they can 100% attend.

Please welcome The Cruciatus Curse to our list of bands. Not only that, but Denni from the aforementioned band also designed us an awesomely fantabulous logo! Thank you, Denni!

Please welcome The Sugar Quills to our bands hoping to attend Magus! We’re excited about the amount of lesser-known bands wishing to attend the event, and just remember that we’re still accepting more bands to perform.
We’ll be learning more this week about the location and dates of the festival, so just hold tight and we’ll notify everyone about that soon.
